Noodes

My kids eat the everloving shit out ramen noodles, even when there's good home-cooked or even homegrown food. Even when there's more food than they know what to do with, it's fucking ramens.

Difference between MPT and NPT threads?

Trying to sort out plumbing acronyms, and someone isn't helping:

I still dont understand because I have NEVER seen a pipe with either a penis or a vagina. Have you?    <lol>
(I did see several pipes that had nipples though, so I instantly knew they were female) !!!!!!!!!!!!    :)
Just to confuse things. MPT is a subset of NPT. Because NPT can be MPT or FPT. So, they aren't totally interchangable. Not to be a PIA, cause a MPT would go nicely into a same size FPT, but can't guarantee that a MPT would go into a NPT, only if it's a FPT NPT. If it were a MPT NPT, that wouldn't work. So, if you have a NPT FPT on your SUV, you need a MPT NPT, or you'll be SOL. KWIM? Then, you'll need a BFG, or  BFH.

Only Retards Send their Kids to Public School and Criticize Private Schools

For no good reason, a blogger (I refuse to refer to people like this as authors) claims that even bad public schools are better than even the best private schools because education is a social good, while admitting that she learned very little in public school. She is okay with funding public school through theft, but also wants the right to criticize everyone else when she sends her kids to private school.

She went full retard.

Never go full retard.

You had me at Florida... Wood Chipper Edition!

I am generally not one for prohibitions, but there is a trend in Florida of people being killed by wood chippers:
Roziland Jennifer Mowell, 24, of Lakeland, was working with a crew from Ashbranch Tree Service on Wednesday when she became caught in the chipper, police said. Mowell's husband, R. Bryan Mowell, owns the tree service company.

TAMPA - A Tampa tree trimmer is dead after one mistake left him fighting against the force a wood chipper, Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said.
Tree trimmer killed in wood chipper accident

On July 6, 2000, a 14-year-old youth (the victim) working as part of a tree-trimming crew was fatally injured while feeding a limb into a drum-type wood chipper
NIOSH FACE Program: In-house Report 2000-21 | CDC/NIOSH

Using his hands for support, the man climbed into the chipper and kicked the branches through. In an instant, the machine pulled half his body through its blades, killing him before he could cry for help, said Hillsborough County sheriff's Lt. Fred Asteasuainzarra, who described the accident Thursday evening.
In January 1999, a 22-year- old man died in Valrico when he used his foot to free a branch stuck in a chipper. Joshua Avery of Dover worked for Farrens Tree Surgeons.
In March 2003, a 24-year-old woman died in a similar accident. Roziland Jennifer Mowell, whose husband owned Ashbranch Tree Service, died in Lakeland when she became caught in a chipping machine.

Then again, perhaps its their way of Darwinning themselves for the benefit of the species...

If You Like The Surveillance State, You’ll Love E-Verify

From massive NSA spying, to IRS targeting of the administration's political opponents, to collection and sharing of our health care information as part of Obamacare, it seems every day we learn of another assault on our privacy. Sadly, this week the Senate took another significant, if little-noticed, step toward creating an authoritarian surveillance state. Buried in the immigration bill is a national identification system called mandatory E-Verify.

I find it odd that left-statists protest voter registration but not this...

The Senate did not spend much time discussing E-Verify, and what little discussion took place was mostly bipartisan praise for its effectiveness as a tool for preventing illegal immigrants from obtaining employment. It is a tragedy that mandatory E-Verify is not receiving more attention, as it will impact nearly every American's privacy and liberty.

The mandatory E-Verify system requires Americans to carry a "tamper-proof" social security card. Before they can legally begin a job, American citizens will have to show the card to their prospective employer, who will then have to verify their identity and eligibility to hold a job in the US by running the information through the newly-created federal E-Verify database. The database will contain photographs taken from passport files and state driver's licenses. The law gives federal bureaucrats broad discretion in adding other "biometric" identifiers to the database. It also gives the bureaucracy broad authority to determine what features the "tamper proof" card should contain.

Hello, 1984, are you just visiting or here to stay?
